There is not a lot known about Sarah Thomas (b. 1793). She married Joel West Edwards of Middletown, Delaware County, before Septemberr 1827 (the month her father died; this is the date of his will).
Sarah and Joel had six children - five girls: Mary Prudence, Rebecca, Amanda, Hannah, and Sarah A., and one boy, Issachar. Sarah died March 11, 1844.
Information we have on their children is as follows.
Mary Prudence married Samuel Wilson, who was a physician. They moved to the Allentown area for a short time before moving to Chicago, Illinois. They had four children: Sarah, Alice R., Isabel, and Joseph E. Mary Prudence lived until sometime after 1910.
Sarah Edwards married John Winterbotham, who was born in England. They moved to Philadelphia, and had seven children: Robert, Sarah, William P., Emma, Bertie, John C. and Ellen.
Issachar married Hannah McClennon, and they had four children: Joseph, C. Albert, Maggie, and Sallie.
